~ Aromatic botanical materials can be incorporated into the after-death process to address client’s cultural and spiritual reasons.
~ Using natural botanicals and aromatics for environmental scenting to help improve the scent, the energy and the mood of the funeral home and can also be used to help personalize the memorial services of clients. Scent is also inextricably linked to memory so when used at memorials, it can spark fond memories and bring an added dimension of comfort to the service.
~ Scent can also be used to set one funeral home apart from another through a personalized scent-scape.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR USING FUNERARY AROMATHERAPY SERVICES AND PRODUCTS IN YOUR FUNERARY ESTABLISHMENT:
There are a few common-sense considerations to keep in mind when using Funerary Aromatherapy in your funerary establishment that are important to be aware of to create a positive aromatic environment and experience.
~ While used with care, awareness and knowledge, Funerary Aromatherapy can be used easily and safely.
~ While proper usage of essential oils for aromatherapy can generally be regarded as safe, there is always a possibility someone could have a sensitivity and / or allergy to one or more of the aromatic materials in use (just as someone could have a reaction to anything in the environment such as cleaning supplies, perfume, people’s personal care products, etc).
~ While some absolutely love and connect to scent, everyone is a scent person or enjoys aroma so remembering that in aromatherapy less can be more can be very helpful.
~ Different scents can sometimes be emotionally triggering for some, so being (as much as reasonably possible) aware of the people who may be attending while using Funerary Aromatherapy can be important (a simple illustration of this idea would be how scents could collectively be viewed culturally and another more personal example would be someone’s trauma trigger, etc).
FEES: The service costs $200.00 for an in-person consultation plus the cost of custom products (prices vary based on made-to-order products) and consists of a phone or in-person Funerary Aromatherapy Funeral Home consultation along with safe-usage instructions and the creation of the appropriate made-to-order aromatherapy products.
Distance consultations (you use YOUR OWN materials) are $200.00 with no additional product cost.
This aromatherapy service is available locally (based in St. Thomas, On, Ca), and by distance consultations by phone or internet.
